Ingredients
- 12 cups
- kale leaves (about 2 medium bunches)
- 3 L
- 2 tbsp
- vegetable oil
- 30 mL
- 2 tsp
- Cajun spice
- 10 mL
Directions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 275°F (140°C). Thoroughly wash kale; dry well using a salad spinner or paper towels. Place in a large bowl; toss with oil and Cajun spice to taste. Arrange in a single layer on 2 large parchment paper–lined baking sheets. Bake 25 min. or until crisp but still rich green in colour, turning the leaves halfway through. Let cool to room temperature before serving.
Tip
To prepare kale, you want to separate the leaves from the thick stems. Holding the leaf in one hand, run the fingers of your other hand down the length of the stalk to strip the stalk, then tear the leaves into bite-sized pieces.
