- Wild Black Cod Fillets, thawed and patted dry

- limes, 1 zested and juiced, 1 quartered
- 1 tsp
- toasted sesame oil
- 5 mL
- 2 tsp
- sodium-reduced soy sauce
- 10 mL
- 1 tsp
- sesame seeds
- 5 mL
- 1/4 tsp
- salt
- 1 mL
- pepper to taste
Directions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Place fillets on a foil-lined, rimmed baking sheet. In a small bowl, combine lime juice, sesame oil and soy sauce. Drizzle mixture over fillets. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and season with salt and pepper.
Step 2
Roast on lower rack of oven for 12 min. or until centres of fillets are opaque. Sprinkle with 1/2 tsp (2 mL) lime zest and serve with lime wedges.
Tip
Black cod is a source of beneficial fats called omega-3 essential fatty acids, which are important for brain function and heart health.
